Born and raised in San Antonio, TX, J. Abram developed a desire to learn music as a young child. He and his Brother along with their Father performed during church gatherings and for family functions. As the two brothers became older they began performing in venues in and around the San Antonio area.

In 2008 J. Abram stepped away from the music for a brief period of time and joined the United States Army in which he still serves today as a Combat Medic Instructor in Austin, TX for the United States Army National Guard.

After his return to the music scene in 2011, J. Abram developed a name for himself in the Country Music scene. Inspired by his grandfather, father, uncle, brother and country music legends such as George Strait, Randy Travis, Alan Jackson, Mark Chestnut, Clint Black, Rick Trevino, Merle Haggard, Ray Price... and Texas Country artists such as Cody Johnson, Deryl Dodd, Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen, and Kevin Fowler to name just a few… J. Abram set out on his own journey in 2015 to keep the true heart and soul of Country Music alive.

J. Abram will be debuting his first album in the fall of 2018 where he will strive to infuse Texas Country with Mainstream Country Music from the 1980’s, 1990’s and early 2000’s.
