Born and raised in San Antonio Texas, Felix Truvere has made music a driving force in his life. He graduated from John Marshall High School and moved on to earn a Bachelors Degree in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Texas, San Antonio.

Where Felix Got His Start

Before he hit the country music scene with his country twang vocals, he took a more behind the scenes position as an Instrumental Music Instructor at Wind Instruments, and then a beloved High School Band Director. Although instructing gave him great pleasure, this Texas Country singer, songwriter, all the way around great musician felt something was missing and he set out to make his own dreams a reality.

Felix is a fan favorite and regular performer at Thirsty Horse, and if you have heard our Thirsty Horse Theme Song, written and performed by Felix Truvere, you know exactly why he is loved so much. His newest album was released in the summer of 2018, and with his down to earth relatable lyrics from tracks like, "Fake it Till I Make It", and "Always Something", we all have something to sing along with.
